Gostaríamos de agradecer profundamente ao Sr. Jacob Martin Taurins, da associação australiana RAGMSA- Rotarian Action Group of Multiple Sclerosis Awareness – pelo convite para participar da Convenção de 2015 do Rotary International, que aconteceu em São Paulo, de 6 a 9 de junho, no Anhembi.
Foi um imenso prazer fazer parte de um evento tão importante, que reuniu 15 mil pessoas do mundo todo. Durante todo o evento, pudemos mostrar um pouco do nosso trabalho e colaborar ainda mais para a divulgação das informações sobre a Esclerose Múltipla no Brasil e no mundo.
A nossa palestra também foi um sucesso. A psicóloga Dra. Ana Maria Canzonieri e a Neurologista Dra. Liliana Russo, ambas da ABEM, falaram não só sobre o trabalho da associação, mas também sobre o panorama geral da EM no País.
Quem também marcou presença foi a presidente da ARPEM – Associação Regional Pirassununguense de Esclerose Múltipla – Patrícia Fernandes – colaborando conosco com a sua participação.

We would like to deeply thank to Mr. Jacob Martin Taurins, from RAGMSA – Rotarian Action Group of Multiple Sclerosis Awareness – for the invitation to attend the 2015 Rotary International Convention, held in São Paulo, 6-9 June at Anhembi.
It was a great pleasure to be part of such an important event, which brought together 15,000 people worldwide. Throughout the event, we were able to show some of our work and further contribute to the dissemination of information on Multiple Sclerosis in Brazil and worldwide.
Our lecture was also a success. Psychologist Dra. Ana Maria Canzonieri and neurologist Dra. Liliana Russo, both from ABEM, spoke not only about the work of the association, but also on the overall picture of MS in the country.
Who was also present was the president of ARPEM – Pirassununguense Regional Association of Multiple Sclerosis – Patricia Fernandes – helping us with their participation.
